Merchant Care Executive (After Sales)

Job Location: The Campus, Pun Hlaing Estate, Hlaing Thar Yar Township, Yangon.

Working Hours: 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, (Monday to Friday)

This role will be employed under Yoma Bank and will lead Wave merchant acquisition and growth initiatives, including activation, transaction performance, revenue growth, and team management, to achieve business objectives and drive market expansion.

Position Purpose

To manage merchant marketing operations, including POSM, vendor coordination, inventory, and event activation, while driving merchant engagement and market growth through effective marketing initiatives and field insights.

Key Responsibilities

  • Marketing Operations & Asset Management: Own the end-to-end lifecycle of POSM (Point of Sale Materials) and marketing collateral, driving seamless alignment between internal stakeholders and external vendors.
  • Vendor Governance & Procurement Documentation: Standardize, document, and manage end-to-end operational processes and service-level agreements (SLAs) for third-party vendors.
  • Inventory & Supply Chain Control: Oversee weekly and monthly inventory checks, stock tracking, and supply chain planning to ensure uninterrupted resource availability.
  • End-to-End Event Activation: Project-manage merchant-facing events, encompassing everything from initial preparation, merchant training, and POSM branding visibility and cash-out operations.
  • Market Intelligence & Field Insights: Conduct regular market research on industry trends while executing on-ground field audits to ensure compliance, optimal branding, and visibility across the onboarded merchant network.
  • Merchant Lifecycle Marketing: Develop and execute merchant marketing initiatives designed to maximize merchant engagement, velocity of active usage, and long-term ecosystem retention.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, or any related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, external vendors, and business partners.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word.
  • Good organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and a proactive approach to work.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and support cross-functional projects and initiatives.
