Wave Money Fair Usage Policy: Service Fee Confirmation
Wave Money has successfully concluded the “Pilot Phase,” which was implemented to ensure the fair usage of remittance services among users and to properly manage transfer volumes that exceed typical personal usage.
Based on the findings from this review, and to enhance service quality and ensure sustainable operations, we would like to announce the official implementation of the following service fee policy:
Service Fee Terms Effective from October 7
- Effective Date: Effective permanently starting October 7, 2026.
- Applicability: A fee of 20 Kyats per transaction will be charged to receivers for any incoming transactions exceeding 500 times per month, starting from the 501st transaction.
- Terms and Rates: The designated service fees will apply in accordance with the Fair Usage Policy only if the number of money receipts exceeds 500 within a month.
For Business-Related Transactions
- Personal Accounts are intended for regular personal use. Users who regularly conduct frequent transactions for business or commercial purposes are encouraged to use the appropriate Business Account / Business Services designed to better support business-related transactions.
- By using the appropriate Business Account or Business Service, users can manage their business-related transactions through services designed for their respective needs.
