Learn How To Register WavePay Account
After downloading the app, you can use any preferred SIM Card to create a WavePay account. Follow the easy steps below.
STEP #1
To register your WavePay account, open the WavePay App
STEP #2
Choose your preferred Language.
STEP #3
You can read more about the features and services available on the WavePay App and then tap “Register”.
STEP #4
Type your mobile number and tap “Confirm”.
STEP #5
You will receive a temporary 4-digit PIN via SMS to your phone number. Enter the PIN and wait a few seconds to access the WavePay app.
STEP #6
Please follow the instructions below to enter your new 4-digit PIN.
Note: Please make sure to remember the PIN number and do not share with anyone.
STEP #7
After verifying the 4-digit PIN numbers shown, tap “Confirm”.
STEP #8
Please type your 4-digit PIN again and tap “Login”.
STEP #9
In the WavePay App, you can review information about Wallet Capacity and Limits, then click “Become a Verified User” to provide the necessary information for registration.
STEP #10
Tap “Open Camera” to provide a photo of your NRC Card (or) driving license (or) passport.
STEP #11
Choose your ID type.
STEP #12
Ensure that your front ID card fits completely within the frame and is clearly visible.
STEP #13
After your front ID card is clearly and completely captured within the frame, tab “Submit”.
STEP #14
Click “Tap to launch camera” to capture the back of your ID card.
STEP #15
Make sure your back ID card fits completely within the frame and is clearly visible.
STEP #16
After your back ID card is clearly and completely captured within the frame, tab “Submit”.
STEP #17
After your front and back ID card is clearly and completely captured, tap “Verify and Continue”.
STEP #18
Fill out your name, gender, date of birth and make sure to follow the terms & conditions and tap “Continue”.
STEP #19
After submitting your basic information, click “Continue”.
STEP #20
For Wave account security, please click “OK” to verify your device, as we operate on a one-device, one-account system.
STEP #21
Click “Authorize” to verify the phone type shown.
STEP #22
You can set up biometrics for your device over a PIN for easier and faster login and payments later from your profile.
STEP #23
Please type your 4-digit PIN.
STEP #24
While the information is being verified, the Wave account status should display as “Pending”.
STEP #25
You need to take a photo of your face for identity card verification and face recognition. Tab “Update Required” to take the photo.
STEP #26
No masks or glasses should be worn during photography, and the face must be captured within the frame.
STEP #27
You can view the guide on how to capture a selfie photo.
STEP #28
After capturing your selfie clearly, tap “Submit”.
STEP #29
After entering all the information, tap “Continue” to activate your Wave account.
STEP #30
You can begin using services from your Wave account.

Sending Money With WavePay to Your Loved Ones Is Very Easy and Convenient
Transferring money from your WavePay account to other WavePay account is FREE. To transfer money, all you need to know is the recipient’s mobile number that is registered for their WavePay account. Below, you can see the step by step of how to make the transaction.

Launch WavePay app and select “Send Money”
STEP #2
Choose the mobile number from the “Contact” or type the number which you would like to transfer the money, then tap “Continue” after verifying that your input number is correct or not.”
STEP #3
Enter the amount you would like to transfer and write a note, then tap “Continue”.
STEP #4
A review page of the transaction will appear and tap “Continue.”
STEP #5
Type the 4-digit PIN of your WavePay account.
STEP #6
Your transaction is completed.

You can track the transactions at “History” on the main page of WavePay app. For your account security, please do not share your OTP and PIN with anyone.
Transferring money from your WavePay account to a recipient who does not have a WavePay account is possible, with the option for withdrawals available at Wave agent shops. To transfer money, you need to know the recipient’s mobile number, name and NRC number. After the money is transferred, the recipient can cash out free at the nearest Wave Money shop by showing their NRC, SMS with Transaction ID and Secret Code. Below, you can see the step by step of how to make the transaction.
