Job Location: The Campus, Pun Hlaing Estate, Hlaing Thar Yar Township, Yangon.
Working Hours: 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, (Monday to Friday)
Position Purpose
The Business Performance Management Manager will play a critical role in driving organizational success by providing insightful analysis, monitoring key performance indicators, and recommending data-driven strategies for improvement. This position requires a highly analytical and proactive individual with a strong business acumen and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for management. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, capable of leading a high-performing team, and comfortable navigating a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive business performance management for the overall organization, identifying trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate closely with the Business Planning team and other related functions to ensure alignment and effective performance management processes.
- Establish and monitor KPIs across various business units and functions.
- Proactively engage with relevant stakeholders to discuss performance results, identify root causes of deviations, and drive the implementation of improvement initiatives.
- Prepare regular performance reports (weekly, monthly, and quarterly) with clear visualizations and insightful commentary for management review.
- Define targets for marketing campaigns and meticulously track their performance, providing detailed reports and actionable takeaways to relevant teams.
- Evaluate the ROI of campaigns and recommend actions to optimize future performance.
- Work closely with product and business owners to support successful go-to-market strategies through performance monitoring and analysis.
- Lead and facilitate regular business performance review meetings with respective HODs and their team members, fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making.
- Provide strong leadership and guidance to a team of high-performing analysts, fostering their professional growth and ensuring high-quality output.
Ad hoc Projects & Analysis
- Develop compelling and insightful reports/dashboard summarizing analysis findings and formulate clear, data-backed recommendations for management.
- Present analysis findings and recommendations effectively to management through clear and concise presentations.
- Work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating a strong ability to learn quickly and apply new knowledge to assigned tasks.
Job Requirements
- At least 7 years of professional experience in business performance management, data analytics, business intelligence, or related roles.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, economics, finance, business administration or any related degree.
- Proven excellent analytical skills with the ability to manage and interpret large datasets to identify patterns, trends, and behavioural insights.
- Exceptional ability to prepare clear, concise, and compelling reports with impactful visualizations.
- Demonstrated experience in delivering effective presentations of analytical findings and recommendations to management.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, including excellent negotiation skills and the ability to effectively chair meetings.
- A keen eye for detail coupled with the ability to understand the broader business context and strategic objectives.
- Solid understanding of financial numbers and overall business acumen.
