  • Make the prepaid top up/ postpaid payment via MyTelenor App or Telenor Website, get 3% CASH BACK using WavePay.
  • All Telenor subscribers who has Wave Pay account are eligible for this promotion.

Promotion details

During 10-30 September 2019  a special promotion would be available for selected Yoma SMART account holders. These selected subscribers would be able to receive special cashback offers if they sign up for a new WavePay account and link it with their Yoma SMART account. The promotional cashback would be made available to all those subscribers, who fulfill the account linking conditions, on airtime purchases done till 31-Dec-2019. Terms & Conditions

  1. Offer is available only for selected Yoma bank SMART account users who do not have any WavePay account
  2. The eligible subscribers would be informed about the promotional offer through a SMS
  3. The offer would be applicable only for those subscribers who receive the offer SMS directly from Yoma Bank
  4. Promotional offer i.e. cashback would be available only to those customers who successfully register a WavePay account and link it with Yoma SMART account
  5. The duration for this promotion, which includes registering the WavePay account and linking it with Yoma SMART account, will be 10-30 September 2019.
  6. The cashback would be applicable only on unique airtime purchases of value less than or equal to 10,000 Kyats done during any month till Dec-2019.
  7. Each eligible customer can receive cashback up to a maximum value of 10,000 Kyats per month till 31-Dec-2019
  8. The promotional cashback, on airtime purchases, will be disbursed into the WavePay account within 2-3 working days
  9. By agreeing to link the SMART account to his/her Wave Pay Account, the customer hereby agrees and provides his/her consent to Yoma Bank to disclose his/her personal information with Wave Money necessary to link the customer’s SMART account to his/her Wave Pay Account
  10. In case of any dispute the decision of Yoma Bank and Wave Money would be final

1) What is the promotion? 

Dear customer, the promotion is for selected people who have a Yoma Smart account but do not have a WavePay account. If these customers first register for WavePay account and link it with their Yoma Smart a/c with WavePay account they would get 25% cashback on all airtime purchases done through WavePay app.

2) Who is eligible for this promotion?

Presently this promotion is only for selected Yoma smart account holders who do not have any WavePay account.

3) Are existing WavePay users eligible for it?

No. Promotional benefits on airtime purchase would be available only to new WavePay account users. However, we do suggest linking your Yoma Smart a/c to enjoy facilities like direct cash-in/ cash out to and from your bank account to your WavePay account.

4) What is the promotional benefit that a customer would receive?

If the selected customers first register for WavePay account and link it with their Yoma Smart a/c with WavePay account they would get 25% cashback on all airtime purchases done through WavePay app. The total cashback that a person can receive on airtime purchases in a month would be subjected to a maximum limit of 10,000 Kyats.

5) What is the duration of promotion?

The promotional offer to register WavePay account and link it with Yoma account is valid from 10th to 30th September. Promotional offer of cashback can be availed for all airtime purchases done till 31 Dec.

6) Is there any last date for signing up for WavePay and sending account linking request?

Yes. Both signing up for WavePay and sending account linkage request should be made latest by 30th of September to become eligible for promotional benefits.

7) Are all bill payments covered under this promotion?

No. Only airtime purchase is applicable for receiving free promotional cashback.

8) Is there any benefit for transferring in/ out to Yoma bank or WavePay?

No. There is no additional benefit on transferring money between the two WavePay & Yoma SMART account.

9) Is there any upper cap on airtime purchase value?

Yes. The promotional offer would be applicable only on an airtime purchase of up to 10,000 Kyats in one transaction through WavePay app.

10) Is there any upper cap on cashback value?

Yes. One customer can receive up to a maximum limit of 10,000 Kyats as cash back on all airtime purchases done during the month.

11) How can I link my Yoma SMART account to my WavePay account?

  1. Login to your Yoma Mobile Banking App
  2. Go the the mailbox in the Yoma Mobile Banking app
  3. Choose “ Wave Linkage” as a category
  4. Fill in “ Promo” as a subject
  5. Enter the registered wave pay number in “ Message”
  6. Submit the message
    (The Linkage could take up to 5 working days.)

12) How will I get the promotional cash back? 

You would get the cash back within 2-3 working days of doing a airtime purchase through WavePay application, provided you have signed up for Wave Pay Account and linked your WavePay account with Yoma SMART account prior to the airtime purchase.

13) I have received a promotional cash back SMS and have done air time top up via the Wave Pay, but not receiving any of the cashback, why is this happening? 

You would get the cash back within 2-3 working days of doing a airtime purchase through WavePay application, provided you have linked your WavePay account with Yoma SMART account prior to the airtime purchase.

14) Is there any fees on transferring money from Yoma account to WavePay account?

No. There is no fees for transferring money between your WavePay account and the Yoma SMART account linked with it.
