II. Position Purpose

Risk Management Committee Charter & Risk Management Framework. Policies Development & Implementation. Business & Operational Process Reviews. Risk Register & Matrix development.  Regulatory Compliance & Audit Committee Framework.

III. Key Result Ares

The results of the work of the Head of Risk & Compliance greatly impacts on the standing and reputation of DMM in the country. The incumbent has to responsible for implementation and management of Risk and Compliance strategies for the DMM and its products. The Head of Risk & Compliance is accountable to the CEO for the timely and effective and efficient Mobile Financial Serivces delivery of the DMM and a proactive response of business and economy changes in the country context.

IV. Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  1. Execution of scheduled Risk Management Committee Charter
  2. Risk Reviews of business development & operational processes.
  3. Establish Risk Management Register & Matrix. Implementation & Monitoring Risks.
  4. Managemnet of Fraud monitoring & controls / investigation and Reporting
  5. Integrated Tool for monitoring Risk and Reporting
  6. Monitor adherence to related Policies.
  7. Monitor & Improve Risk Matrix and Assessment
  8. Management & identification of suspicious transaction, investigation & reporting
  9. Regulatory Compliance.
  10. Monitoring of Money Laundering & Terrorist Financing
  11. Risk related Policies Implementation – AML, KYC & on-boarding, Fraud Management, COB, Anti-Corruption & Risk event reporting.
  12. Enforce Risk Management Policy & Procedure with all streams of DMM.
  13. Risk Management Goals or “Standards” for the practice
  14. Audit Committee formation & implement best practice.
  15. Relationship management & coordination with related stream at Telenor &Yoma Bank

V. Key Performance and Success Indicators

  • Performance : Develop and implementation of prevention of risk and business compliance model and strategies in line with Myanmar country context for DMM and to be operational within the set timeframe; ensure implementation of such important policies and prevention of misuse and fraud for financial resources.
  • Client focus and orientation : Anticipates constraints in the delivery of DMM’s services and proactively identifies, develops and discusses solutions or alternatives
  • Results-based improvement and management : Identifies business strategies using a fact-based approach; Ensure effective operation of DMM strategies and business sustainability; Pre-emptive business risks and constrains by setting out Policies and prevention plan; Conceptualizes more effective approaches to DMM development and implementation and to mobilizing and using resources

This position has to communicate with various stakeholders such as, national counterparts, regulators and government authorities, partner organizations, corporate clients, investors, financial sponsor, business partners and suppliers, peers and community. In simplest way, we define anyone who comes into contact with Wave Money/ DMM as a stake holders.

VIII. Experience, Functional Skills and Knowledge Areas

Experience:

  • 10 years of relevant experience at the Local or International Organisation.
  • Extensive experience in research and policy-level analysis, financial risk control and compliance management. Some experience in design, monitoring and evaluation of risks and compliance projects.

Education and qualifications:

  • Advance university degree in Financial Control Management, Risk and Compliance Management, Public Policy, Business Administration and Management, Banking and Financial Services or other relevant field
  • Experience in the usage of computers and office software packages, experience in handling of web-based management systems and advanced programmes for data analysis.

Funcational Skills and Knowledge Areas:

II. Position Purpose

Training Manager is responsible for improving the productivity of our employees and channel partners. The challenge of the role is to Design and implement training program to suffice and fulfill skill development needs and mainly conducting the trainings and workshops as trainer/facilitator to our employees, our distributors and their 6000-agents/retail outlets around the country.

III. Key Result Ares

This position is responsible for the effective development, coordination and delivery of training and development programs. The training expert assesses developmental needs to drive training initiatives and identifies and arranges suitable training solutions for employees and channel partners. This position actively searches, creatively designs and implements effective methods to educate, enhance performance and recognize performance.

IV. Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  1. Conduct training needs analysis
  2. Develop effective training content/materials utilizing a variety of media.
  3. Develop trainer development programs and coach others involved in training efforts, providing effective growth and development opportunities.
  4. Develop and maintain communications to ensure employees & channel partners have knowledge of events and general information.
  5. Develop and monitor spending against the departmental budget.
  6. Exemplify the desired culture and philosophies of the organization.
  7. Work effectively as a team member with other members of management and the human resources staff.
  8. Designing and implementing programs to suffice and fulfill skill development needs and mainly conducting the trainings and workshops as trainer/facilitator
  9. Drive training activities, and ensure that training programs are arranged in alignment with development frameworks and models
  10. Deliver / facilitate training to CL/MCL and Channel Partners.
  11. To facilitate all relevant systems & functional training (All supporting Systems) across the organization and related partners (DTR, CSE (Distribution), CRE (Retail), DSE (Enterprise) and POS.
  12. Collaborate with other departments/teams to facilitate analysis and identify process improvement opportunities and Modify programs as needed.
  13. Conduct follow-up studies of all completed training to evaluate and measure results
  14. To ensure accurate, appropriate, efficient and effective implementation of training programs for the development of Channel partner where needed, to support to the overall corporate success.
  15. Note – This position requires up to 50% travel.

VII.Experience, Functional Skills and Knowledge Areas

  2. At least 5 years related working experience.

  4. An experienced trainer who has a penchant to develop and train others, preferable from a telecommunication or related industry.

Job Purpose
The Business Sustainability manager is responsible for managing sustainability projects for Wave Money as identified by the leadership team (LT) to support development of Myanmar besides the regular product agenda. PrincipleAccountabilities

Key Responsabilities:

KEY Responsibilities

Prepare accurate, timely and relevant financial result. Maintain prepration and accounting records in ERP. Ensure timely month end close process and reporting to Telenor Group Accounting Team as well as to other shareholder requirements. Provide CFO analysis of financial statements, provide insightful of financial transaction in form of commentaries. Ensure compliance with IFRS, local GAAPs, Myanmar local reporting regulations
KPI:

  • Lead the financial accounting and closing process with preparation of financial statements, detailed reconciliations and analysis.
  • Accuracy of complete accounting records in ERP.
  • Ensure accuracy of accounting data with reconciliation with Core MFS system.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations and tax laws
  • Design and implement dynamic finance processes to facilitate the business teams and ensure compliance with accounting policies.

  • Lead the external audit process of financial statements.
  • Ensure accuracy of accounting process in Core MFS system by rigorous testing of financial transactions generated by Core MFS system design and processes
  • Implement Revenue Assurance and Internal Control to ensure the accuracy of financial transactions in Core MFS system
  • Provide support to business teams in preparation of analysis of various reports and statements.
